About Course

Knowledge Incubation for TEQIP, IIT Kanpur is organizing a Pedagogical Workshop on Complex Fluids and Geophysical Flows. This will be held during 03-17 December 2018. A few of the experts in this area (including Jim Jenkins from Cornell, Herbert Huppert from Cambridge, John Brady from Caltech; please see enclosed pdf for a detailed list) have agreed to give pedagogical lectures to graduate students and faculty on a variety of topics on complex fluids and geophysical flows during 3-16 December 2018.

On behalf of organizing committee we cordially invite your TEQIP institute to participate in this event. We request you to kindly nominate interested faculty and PhD students from your institute to attend these pedagogical lectures. All interested faculty members and PhD are encouraged to participate.

There is no registration fee for candidates from TEQIP affiliated institutes. The TEQIP cell at IIT Kanpur will arrange for and cover the expenses of boarding and lodging at IIT Kanpur for all delegates. The TEQIP cell at the home institute of each delegate is expected to cover their travel and other expenses. Double occupancy rooms will be provided to all participants. Delegates are requested to make their own travel arrangements to reach the workshop venue.
